• 18th Edition Certification or equivalent
• Qualified apprentice-trained electrician (City & Guilds)
• Extensive experience as a qualified maintenance / service engineer operating in an industrial environment (Preferably in the manufacturing sector).
• Electrical fault finding to component level
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety procedures (IOSH/NEBOSH certification preferred) including risk assessment & Operational Understanding
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards and compliance with industry regulations.
• Proficiency in developing, executing, and maintaining planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload efficiently
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience in leading teams, either directly or indirectly
• Electrical Installation Maintenance: the post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post
• This role will require a minimum of 5 years’ continuous employment history (references will be required).
• Successful completion of an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
