Digital Marketing Manager – Maternity Leave Cover (FT Contract, 12-13 months)
Overview
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery and development of the company’s digital marketing activity across the Moon brand. Working closely with the Brand & Product Director and Marketing Manager, the role focuses on delivering effective campaigns, managing digital channels and supporting commercial growth across ecommerce, retail and wholesale markets.
- Lead the day-to-day management and delivery of digital marketing activity across channels including social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC, content marketing and ecommerce.
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels alongside the Marketing Manager and wider commercial teams.
- Manage all company social media channels, including content planning, scheduling, community engagement and performance monitoring.
- Manage the day-to-day administration and content of the company website and CMS platform, including product content, landing pages, campaign updates and general site maintenance, while coordinating with external development agencies on technical improvements and development work.
- Manage and support the ongoing development of the ecommerce channel in collaboration with the wholesale and retail sales teams.
- Work closely with the Creative & Digital Design Executive to coordinate the development of marketing assets, digital content and video content in line with campaign objectives and brand direction.
- Coordinate with external website, marketing and PR agencies to support campaign delivery, website improvements and commercial performance.
- Support the planning and management of digital marketing spend and campaign budgets.
- Maintain consistent brand presentation and tone of voice across all digital communications and marketing content.
- Work collaboratively with sales and retail teams to support customer engagement, product launches and commercial activity.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and digital marketing best practices to support campaign development and new ideas.
- Support retail stores and ecommerce activity through online and offline initiatives aimed at driving awareness, traffic and footfall.
- Maintain an awareness of customer data protection requirements and marketing compliance obligations.
- Produce regular reporting and analysis on campaign, ecommerce and channel performance, using insights to improve future activity.
- Represent the company at relevant trade, networking and industry events where required.
- Degree in marketing, business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good understanding of digital marketing channels, platforms and current best practices across social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC and content marketing.
- Experience supporting or managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Understanding of website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights platforms.
- Experience working with e-commerce and CMS platforms, including website content management, campaign updates and coordination with external development agencies.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer behaviour, campaign objectives and brand positioning.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and campaign performance clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Confident working collaboratively across marketing, sales, retail and external agency partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign and e-commerce performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively within a wider team environment.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to take ownership of day-to-day digital marketing activity and campaign delivery.
- Interest in brands, retail, interiors, textiles or lifestyle-led products would be advantageous.
