At the Mill Shop, you can expect to find a brave new world of fabrics by the metre, throws, cushions, and scarves, as well as the odd piece of ex-display furniture. Please note that we don’t stock Abraham Moon clothing at the Mill Shop, please visit the York store for this.

For the past two centuries, Guiseley has been a true hub for woollen fabric manufacturing of many varieties, including tweeds, worsteds and technical cloths. Even the local train station was originally built for the purpose of servicing the local mills, with incoming coal deliveries and transportion of the finished cloth to Leeds market for sale. There once were seven woollen producers in the area; now (sadly) only we remain. The Mill Shop is situated within one of our historic worker cottages at the train station end of the factory and is a popular spot for gift buying among local residents!
