What’s New in 2015
Back to life, back to reality, welcome all to 2015 – the soon to be Chinese year of the sheep! We’ve got a number of exciting developments to report here at Moon HQ, some of the most important of which you’ll find below. Keep your eyes, ears, and emails peeled in the coming months for more exciting information and new product launches.
New Furnishing Collection
You may have already seen previews through our Twitter feed, Facebook page or Email newsletter that we have a brand new furnishing collection on its way! Named Elemental, the colours have been inspired by the stunning gemstones of Mother Earth and come in a variety of exciting new plaid designs.
Previewing at Heimtextil between 14th-17th January and to be launched online soon afterwards, this will (rather suitably given the first preview date) be our 14th collection in the Moon Furnishing range. A couple of the new fabrics, all woven in 100% Pure New Wool, can be seen below pre-release.
New Bronte by Moon Accessories
We’ve been very busy in our design studio creating a number of new additions for our extensive home and fashion accessory ranges, especially for 2015.
Eight new throws and cushions have been inspired by The Dales Collection of Moon Furnishing fame; a personal favourite is the Gargrave Check Heather (a rare editors tip!). Over thirty further new designs for interiors are also to be launched in due course.
As far as scarves are concerned, we’ve crafted six new patterns and twenty two new colourways for our country scarf range. All named after historic towns and areas of our Yorkshire homeland, these fine Merino Lambswool pieces are a cosy fit for the cold weather.
All new products can be found at our dedicated Bronte website and online shop – www.brontebymoon.co.uk/
New Showroom, Sales & Design Studio
After the opening of our state-of-the-art warehouse building in August 2013, our re-located Finishing department left a sizable hole to fill close to the mill’s courtyard entrance. We’re pleased to announce that we have just completed a conversion which will see our growing Sales, Marketing and Design teams sharing an open-plan space including breakout meeting areas and a unique product showroom.
Based in one of the oldest sections of the mill (with archive photos dating back to 1912), this space gives us a fantastic new platform to showcase the full brand and product story to trade customers and international visitors, from the Victorian era through to modern day. We’ll be adding more photos and updates when we ‘move in’ next month!
