‘The English Gentleman’ is Woolmark’s latest Autumn/Winter promotion of the benefits of wool in apparel. Cleverly titled 1940’s style posters (‘Help Britain’s Warm Effort’) set up in the relatively untouched cabinet war rooms sat snugly alongside the eighty Savile Row crafted Merino wool fashion pieces. Our fabrics were used for the suits of Woolmark VIPs Sir Michael Gambon and Sir John Standing, pictured. Read the full story here.

Towards the end of last year, television giants TF1 (effectively the French equivalent of the BBC) approached us about the possibility of running a news feature on the popularity of tweed design, with the result being the above video. Unfortunately, none of us in the office are able to speak French, but we’re assured whatever’s being said is somewhere between informative and complimentary.
