Our AW14-15 Collaborations
With British Summer Time officially ending on Sunday it seems Winter is well and truly on the way, so it’s only right for us to bring you a few of our latest Autumn/Winter Apparel collaborations. AW14-15 season has been a busy one, with big collections from the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Boden, and Holland Esquire amongst many others. Read about them below and let us know your thoughts!
Tommy Hilfiger
The Tech Tradition Collection marks one of our largest combinations with Tommy Hilfiger yet. Mixing high performance fabrics with our joint heritage and Hilfiger’s famed Navy colour palette, the collection was featured in Italian Vogue earlier this month. Guest Editor and Model/TV Host Alexa Chung got in on the act in the Willis Duffle Coat (pictured left) resplendent in a Moon check.
Boden
Our long relationship with British brand Boden continues this year with some beautiful brand-new designs. We’re also fortunate enough to be playing a part in the new Great Boden Diaries project, with fashion & lifestyle blogger Sasha Wilkins (Liberty London Girl) visiting Guiseley for a tour of our mill, highlighting the virtues of British manufacturing and our Boden partnership.
Holland Esquire
The retail brand of renowned tailor Nick Holland, Holland Esquire’s new arrivals feature a fantastic variety of Yorkshire Tweed Menswear (perfectly matched to their beautiful floral print shirts). X-Factor’s Andrea (left) appeared on Saturday’s live show in a more modern design featuring our Silver Star Red fabric – Louis Walsh wasn’t a fan but we most certainly are!
Crew Clothing
Another of our British collaborators, Crew, have been kind enough to share our story of craft and heritage through their website with an exclusively Moon ‘Made in Britain’ page. The numerous garments in the A. Moon & Co Collection (mostly Ladieswear) combine our expertly woven, soft mélange colours with stylish designs from the Crew team.
Polo Ralph Lauren – USA Ryder Cup Team
They may have lost Golf’s prestigious Ryder Cup (Go Team Europe!) but at least they lost with style in these Polo Ralph Lauren blazers. Polo specially made these pieces using one of our timeless tartan fabrics which were worn during the opening ceremony in September. Rickie Fowler (right) pulls it off with consummate ease. Better luck next time, chaps.
